Gravitas KWPN was imported as a foal by Midas-Touch Stud, and is now maturing into a breathtaking young stallion. Gravitas is by the highly rated dutch dressage sire, Uphill KWPN out of a Gribaldi TRAK x Samber KWPN Mare.
Standing just under 17hh at 4 years old, Gravitas is a correctly conformed, incredible mover with an outstanding hind leg action.

 In 2008, Uphill was KNHS Indoor Nederlands Champion at advanced medium dressage in Roosendaal with rider Emmelie Scholtens.
His breeding value in 2008 was 190!
Uphill's sire Oscar presented an eye-catching collection of foals and from his first crop two of his sons have been invited to take the 70 day grading test. In 2010, an Oscar son was champion of the stallion selections. Oscar himself, just like his half brother Kimberley, both are descendants from the famous Rania-stam.
Uphill's dam Naomi Cerroon is a good moving mare. A full brother of this mare competes at advanced dressage, as do many of the offspring from this maternal line.
In the report from the KWPN Breeding Evaluation Committee at his licensing, Uphill is described as a very energetic and trustworthy stallion who is very willing to work.
His test marks for dressage were: Walk 8.5, Trot 8.0, Canter 7.5, Potential 8.0
Uphill's foal report: Uniform collection of well developed foals with plenty of length in the leg, which are true to type [dressage]. The foals move easily and correctly, with a good use of the hind leg.

Three of his offspring have been or are being produced at Grand Prix level (I.P.S Painted Black,Pasternak, Picasso SV) It is also striking that many of Gribaldi’s progeny possess a huge talent for Piaffe and Passage.
In addition to sport performance there are many licensed sons including Totilas, I.P.S Painted Black, Game Boy, Painted Black II, Hotline,
Hofrat, Distelzar, Hoftänzer, Galando, and Zardin-Firfod.
A great many mares are highly placed at the mare shows and in the various mare performance tests in Deurne and Drachten and there are a great many mares performing beautiful IBOP tests.
There are also a great number of progeny of Gribaldi that have competed in the PAVO CUP for four and five year-old dressage horses and many
have been selected for the semi-finals and the finals.
